Hi, guys! This is Arca. I haven't made a tech tutorial in a while. I will be showing you guys how to use Google Drawings to edit and create your own variation of Kylo Ren's lightsaber from the new movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Let's begin!
What you will need:
- A Google account
- Access to Google Drive
- A computer (Duh!)
Here are some copy + paste templates that I give you permission to use:
Kylo Ren's lightsaber with a transparent background
His lightsaber hilt with a transparent background

Step 1: Open up your Google drive and create a new document. From there, click on the top where it says "insert" and select "insert drawing". This should pop up:
Step 2: Copy and paste Kylo Ren's lightsaber into it.
Step 3: Click on the image and select the "crop image" icon at the right. Change it so that you can only see the lightsaber blade. Then click the outside.
The crop image button looks something like this:
Step 4: Click on the image and click on "More" at the top right and select "image options".
Click on "No recolor" to change it. This will pop up:
From there, select the blade color that you want!
Step 5: Copy and paste the Kylo Ren lightsaber hilt into it. Then select the blade, copy it and then delete it. Paste it on top of the hilt, the move it around and tilt them to the position you want.
Step 6: Click on and copy + paste your new blade and move it to the side. Crop it so that only a small portion of the tip is showing.
Then copy and paste it so that you now have two of them. Right click on one of them, then click on "rotate" and then select "flip vertically."
When you have done this, move them to the side of the lightsaber hilt, where the little light daggers/pikes are sticking out. Your result should be something like this, based on the color of your blade:
Click save and close. Ta-da! Now you have made your very own version of Kylo Ren's lightsaber. The one above is a bit plain and boring, but the one above is the one that I jazzed up!
You do nor neccesarily have to follow each of these steps the same exact way that I did in the pictures. Be creative! Make something the galaxy has ever seen! With imagination and a bit of messing around, you can make something that will impress all of your friends.

that is like so easy to do! I don't think you need a tutorial for this.
ReplyDeleteI know that.
DeleteThe reason I made this is because most people are really bad at technology (most of the kids I know) and could use stuff like this when they don't even know how to upload to YouTube.
